ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
1955 alumnus Ted Farnsworth studied journalism and photography at Clark College. Due to his active career in commercial fishing, he was unable to participate in sports at Clark College but lent his skills to the athletic program. Often recognized as Clark College’s most ardent fans, Ted spent years photographing, publishing and supporting the Penguins. In 1996, Ted assisted in launching the Penguin Athletic Club which still exists today to supports student athletes at Clark. In 1998, Ted was recognized by the Clark College Foundation with the Presidential Award of Excellence representing the highest honor bestowed on an individual for exceptional commitment and service. For more than 50 years, Ted’s legacy towards athletics was a beacon for others to follow.
