ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
White was named a Western Division All-Star First Team member in 1989 and 1990. During the ’89 season, White was fourth in the NWAACC for rebounding, averaging 11.4 rebounds per game. He led all rebounders during the next season, averaging 11.6 per game. After leaving Clark, White attended Queens College in Charlotte, North Carolina on a full basketball scholarship, where he started at center and power forward and was named the team’s Most Valuable Player after his senior season. Graduating in 1992 with a degree in Sociology. Darryl went on to play the 1993 season professionally in Brazil.
