VANCOUVER, Wash. - Clark College Athletics is delighted to announce that Aaron Tasker has been hired as the next Head Coach of the Penguins men's soccer program. "I'm excited for the opportunity to help this program reach its full potential," said Tasker. Helping the players become the best version of themselves, not just as players but as individuals will be my focus. I dedicate myself to this team and building a culture where we push our limits and grow together through hard work, discipline, and a love for the game. Go Penguins!" 

Tasker was promoted to the head job after spending two seasons on Coach Jeff Lukowiak's staff as an assistant coach. Both years, the Penguins made the NWAC playoffs, including winning a West Region Championship and making it all the way to the NWAC Championship game in 2024. During his time with the program, Clark amassed a win-loss record of 24-6-5 overall and included a 21 match home unbeaten streak.
 
As a player, Tasker competed at Phoenix College before embarking on a pro career. Outside of Clark, Tasker is currently the Vancouver Victory Men's Head Coach and has spent more than decade coaching high school soccer. He currently carries a USSF C License and has spent time with Oregon ODP and as the Portland Timbers RTC Director.

Clark College Athletic Director Laura LeMasters was excited about Tasker moving into his new position. His leadership, commitment to our student-athletes, and deep understanding of the program's values have been evident from day one. We are confident that under his guidance, our team will continue to grow, compete at the highest level, and represent our institution with pride."
