Frasier, flanked by Kailey Sears, was awarded the NWAC Southern Region Men's Coach of the Year.
Regarding their past weekend's success, Frasier said, "Saturday was a huge day for our program to have both Men's and Women's teams in the top two. It was two totally different races but both team executed exactly what we wanted to do. On the Men's side, we knew it was going to be a battle and our guys rose to the challenge and ran a really gutsy race. We are proud of how hard they competed. For the Women, we knew we were pretty secure in our spot in the race and it was all about taking care of business and running a solid race. We know a ton of them feel like they've still got a lot left for the Conference Championship. We expect to see their best performances there."
Penguins XC programs now look ahead to the NWAC Championship and will take the next two weeks to prepare to make some noise at Chambers Bay.
