Coach Iggy has to be happy with how Nico Field has started the season.
Eugene, OR - The Clark College track and field team competed in their second outdoor meet of the season at the Lane Open on Saturday and saw several standout performances.
In all, Clark saw ten athletes earn NWAC auto qualifying marks, which guarantees each athlete a spot at the NWAC Track and Field Championships in May. Â
In the women's sprints,
Abigail Mendoza and
Emily Peabody earned NWAC qualifying marks as two of the fastest 100 meter runners in the field. Their times of 12.57 and 12.58 are the top two times in the conference so far this season.
