VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Clark College Men's & Women's Track & Field teams finished their season at the NWAC Championships. The Championships were held at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon Monday, May 20th and Tuesday, May 21st. Â
The men's team finished 6th overall, with a score of 60 points. The women finished the meet with in 11th, with 10 points.
Freshman,
Jett Pharn-Cromb finished the meet with multiple podium finishes. He placed 3rd in the 100m with a time of 11.02 and 4th in the 200m with a time of 22.21.
Freshman,
Micah Kinnunen was righ there with him in each event. Kinnunen finished 5th in the 100 (11.13) and 8th in the 200m (22.63).
Both Pharn-Cromb and Kinnunen were also a members of the 4x100 relay team that finished 3rd (42.50). The relay included Sophomores
Ron Cohen,
Dominic Lee.
Lee reached the podium in both of his personal events placing 4th in the long jump (6.71 meters) and 3rd in the triple jump (14.38 meters).
Freshman,
Micah Goff placed 6th in the 5,000m run with a time of 15:59.99 along with a 5th place finish in the 10,000m race at 33:43.19.
Freshman,
Aaron Avery reached the podium in the 3,000m steeplechase at a time of 10:18.58 for 8th place.
Freshman,
Richard Robinett finished 4th in the shot put with a mark of 13.73 meters.
Sophomore, Zack Hofschneider placed 3rd in the hammer throw (45.36 meters). Â
Sophomore,
Scott Thurman reached the podium as well with a throw of 41.32 meters, enough for 5th place.
Sophomore,
Kolten Snyder placed 4th in the javelin with a throw of 54.09 meters.
Freshman,
Nicky Figueras reached the podium in teh 10,000 meter race, finishing 8th with a time of 44:23.77.
Sophomore,
Zoey Pitts placed 4th in the 400m hurdles (1:05.63).
Freshman,
Riley Truitt placed 5th in the pole vault, reaching 3.51 meters. That mark puts her second all-time at Clark.
