VANCOUVER, Wash. - Clark College Track & Field is excited to announce that Freshman,
Sally Gould (Lutheran High School, Parker, CO), has committed to further her academic and athletic career at the University of Northern Colorado. UNC, located in Greenley, Colorado, is a NCAA Division I program in the Big Sky Conference.
UNCÂ is gaining one of the most well rounded Clark Track & Field athletes in school history with Gould. In her lone season with the Penguins this Spring, Sally earned First Team All-Southern Region in five events when including her competition in the heptathlon championships. Ath the NWAC Championships, Sally just missed winning the long jump championship but still earned All-American recognition in that event. She followed that up with a third place finish in the triple jump to add All-American accolades in that event. She also made the finals in the 100 meters to earn NWAC All-Conference honors. A true team first competitor, Gould also helped the Women's 4x100 relay team cruise to the NWAC Championship. Their winning time ranks third all-time in Clark College history. It's not the only top ten mark for Gould, as her best long jump of 17'9 also ranks ninth in Clark history.
Congratulations Sally! Thank you for everything you have done for Clark. We're excited for your next step!Â
