VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Clark College Athletics Department hosted its annual Student-Athlete Awards Banquet on Friday, June 10th. 

Sophomore Sean Johnson, received the Male Athlete of the Year Award after a record season. Johnson lead the team in points (480), total field goals (182), and 3pt field goals (72) and percentage (38%). These stats placed him towards the top of the ladder throughout the NWAC as he finished 12th in the NWAC in total points, 10th in total field goals and 8th in total 3pt field goals.

Freshman Kelli Huskic took home the Female Athlete of the Year Award following her dominant season. Huskic lead her team in goals (15), Assists (13), and total points (43). Through the NWAC, she finished her season at 1st in total shots, 2nd in total goals, 2nd in assists, and 2nd in total points. In the Clark College record books, Huskic currently sits at T9th in total goals, T3rd in total assists, and 6th in total points.

Freshman Anya Schooler was awarded the Scholar Athlete of the Year Award after she spent the last academic year excelling in the classroom. Schooler has made the Vice President Honor Roll every term since Fall of 2020 and only has 1 A- tarnishing her 4.0 GPA. 

Softball was awarded the Scholar Team Award with a roster of 15 counting toward their team GPA. The roster had 9 students making the Athletic Director's honor roll in the Fall and 10 make the list in the Winter. The team averaged above a 3.0 team GPA over both terms.

Coaches Award - Haylie Johnson
MVP - Maggie Spencer

Baseball
Coaches Award - Luke Staton
MVP - Trevor Torppa

Softball
Coaches Award - Emily Hewitt
