Men's Basketball Signs Hubbard out of Sandy High School

By Tim Melcher

The Clark College Men's Basketball team and Head Coach Kevin Johnson are pleased to announce another signing to the 2020-2021 class. The penguins have signed Sandy High School's, Kaleb Hubbard.

Hubbard comes to Clark with an impressive resume of action at Sandy High School, in Sandy Oregon. He is a 6'4" knockdown shooter that plays both wing positions and can get to the basket with a tenacity. Hubbard was named to Oregon's 6A Mt. Hood Conference All-League team as an Honorable Mention as a senior this past season. He was a 2-year varsity starter for the pioneers and during his junior season played the opposite wing from current penguin basketball player Colton Gorski.

Hubbard is a dangerous threat to the penguins already potent offensive attack. His outside shooting will add depth to the penguin bench and his size and range make him a threat to play the wing position.

Hubbard makes the sixth recruit signed by Coach Johnson and the penguins for next season's squad. He joins other local prospects with the returning team members and excitement is continuing to build around the program and the future of penguin men's basketball.

Welcome to the penguin family Kaleb, we can not wait for you take the court, next season.
