ALBANY, OR - Clark College battled throughout but couldn't slow a scorching offensive night from Linn-Benton, falling 101–70 on Wednesday.
The Penguins showed fight early and leaned on Tristan Pratt, who turned in one of his most efficient outings of the season. Pratt scored a team-high 18 points on 8-of-15 shooting and added seven rebounds and three assists, anchoring Clark on both ends of the floor. Ari Richardson chipped in 10 points and five rebounds, while Micah Gentry and Zion Milare each finished with nine points, with Milare knocking down three triples.
Clark's depth made an impact off the bench, particularly on the glass. Samuel Malm hauled in seven rebounds — all offensive — and dished out three assists in a gritty 29-minute effort. Jaydon Hall provided a spark in limited time, scoring six points on 3-of-4 shooting, while Aryan Davoodi added four points, three rebounds and a steal.
Despite Clark's balanced effort, Linn-Benton caught fire offensively, shooting 56.7 percent from the field and an eye-opening 57.1 percent from three-point range. Kaiden Ford led all scorers with 34 points, while Kai Russell (25 points) and Gabe Townsend (21 points) combined to keep constant pressure on the Penguins' defense.
Clark finished the night shooting 41.2 percent from the field and out rebounded Linn-Benton 36–33, but 19 turnovers and the Roadrunners' hot shooting proved too much to overcome.
The Penguins will look to regroup quickly and carry the positives — strong rebounding, bench production, and Pratt's interior presence — into their next outing as they continue conference play.
