Pratt's 30 Piece Lifts Clark Past Chemeketa 70-69

SALEM — Behind a dominant scoring performance from Tristan Pratt and timely defensive stops down the stretch, the Clark College men's basketball team edged Chemeketa Community College 70–69 in a tightly contested match up.

Pratt delivered his third 30 plus point game of the season, coming off the bench to pour in 33 points on 12-of-18 shooting, including 3-of-4 from three-point range, while going a perfect 6-for-6 at the free-throw line. The sophomore added seven rebounds and gave Clark a consistent offensive spark for 34 minutes, accounting for nearly half of the Penguins' scoring.

Clark shot efficiently as a team, finishing at 47.3 percent from the field and knocking down 7-of-16 from beyond the arc (43.8%). The Penguins also capitalized at the free-throw line, converting 11-of-13 attempts, which proved critical in a one-point victory.

Ari Richardson contributed 10 points, hitting both of his three-point attempts and adding four free throws, while Zion Milare chipped in nine points and three assists in a steady all-around effort. Marcell Roberts provided a lift in limited minutes with six points on 3-of-5 shooting, and Samuel Malm added energy on both ends with five points, three rebounds, two steals, and a block.

On the glass, Noah Tostovrsnik anchored the interior with a team-high eight rebounds, helping Clark hold its own in a closely fought rebounding battle.

Chemeketa was led by Andrew Imhoff, who scored 14 points on four three-pointers, while Jackson Penigar added 11 points off the bench. The Storm shot 50 percent from the floor and kept the pressure on until the final possession, but Clark's composure late sealed the result.

The narrow win showcased Clark's depth and resilience, as the Penguins leaned on a balanced supporting cast around Pratt's standout performance to secure the hard-fought road victory.
