VANCOUVER, Wash. - Clark College Cross Country and Track is excited to announce that freshman
Kennedy Taylor (Hanford HS, Burbank, WA) has signed to further her academic and athletic career at Eastern Oregon University. EOU, located in La Grande, Oregon, is one of the top NAIA cross country and track programs in the nation and finished last year ranked in the Top 25 of the national rankings.
EOU is gaining a very accomplished runner in Taylor, who still has tons of room for growth since becoming a full time distance runner just this year. As a freshman on the this season, Kennedy earned Second Team All-Southern Region honors in cross country and was a big part of Clark's team Southern Region Championship! At the NWAC Championships, Taylor finished 21st overall in a personal best time of 21:01 to help the Penguins to a second place team finish. On the track this spring, Kennedy has already reached the NWAC Qualifying Standard and ranks second in the conference in the 800 meters. She also ranks 7th in the 1500 meters as well.
Congratulations Kennedy! Thank you for everything you have done for Clark. We're excited for your next step!
