Penguins Dominate Centralia 81-41

Clark College used a dominant performance in the paint and a balanced defensive effort to earn an 81–41 victory over Centralia on Wednesday, controlling the game from start to finish.

The Penguins were led by a career night from Emily Peabody, who poured in 35 points on 14-of-24 shooting while grabbing a game-high 16 rebounds. Peabody was relentless on both ends, anchoring Clark inside as the Penguins out-rebounded Centralia 46–39 and consistently converted second-chance opportunities.

Reaiah Hall added a great all-around performance with 20 points, five assists and six steals, setting the tone defensively as Clark forced 27 turnovers. Hall's pressure in the passing lanes fueled Clark's transition offense and kept Centralia from finding any rhythm.

Mia Hicks-Oliver delivered a steady double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Ashley Serna chipped in defensively with three blocks and Yazmin Rios and Alex Rosenbaum combined for seven assists to help Clark finish with 19 team assists.

Clark shot 44.6 percent from the field and dominated the glass, particularly on the defensive end, limiting Centralia to just 22.9 percent shooting. The Penguins' defense held the Trailblazers to 41 points, including just 5-of-18 from the free-throw line, as Clark maintained control throughout the contest.

With contributions across the lineup and a commanding presence in the paint, Clark College delivered one of its most complete performances of the season.
