Linn-Benton Edges out Penguins for Narrow Victory

VANCOUVER, Wash. - In a conference matchup at Vancouver, WA, Clark College demonstrated resilience and determination, despite the final score not swinging in their favor. Linn-Benton secured a narrow victory with a final score of 54-51, but Clark showcased their fighting spirit throughout the game.

The standout players for Clark were Neriah Efferson and Ashlyn Parduhn, who exhibited impressive performances on both ends of the court. Efferson, with her defensive prowess, recorded 12 points and 7 rebounds while also showcasing her defensive skills with 3 steals and 2 blocks. Parduhn, on the other hand, showcased her scoring ability, contributing 11 points, including three crucial 3-pointers.  Freshman, Paytin Ballard, hit the boards, pulling down 13 rebounds in addition to her 12 points on the night.

Despite the team's challenging season, Efferson, Parduhn, and Ballard's efforts exemplify the resilience and determination of Clark College's basketball program.

Next the team with host Southwestern Oregon on Saturday, February 24th in what will be the final home game of the 23-24 season.
