VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Penguins are proud to announce that Caden Parker, from West Linn, Oregon has become the 63rd player to sign on at the four-year level in the six seasons under Clark College Head Coach Mark Magdaleno.
Parker will attend Bowling Green State University, which is in Bowling Green, Ohio. The Falcons compete in the NCAA at the Division I Level as a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) East Division.
Parker, a West Linn High School product, becomes the 15th player to move on to the NCAA Division 1 level and the fourth player from the 2023 Penguins Team to earn that right.

"I really enjoyed my time playing at Clark College. Coach Mags and the staff have really helped and encouraged me to become the best baseball player and man that I can possibly be. They helped me develop my skills as a baseball player so that I could achieve my dream of playing college baseball. Now, I can continue pursuing that dream at Bowling Green State University. I am very excited to go experience a new state and competing at the next level. I loved playing under Coach Mags and meeting a solid group of guys. I am sad to leave some of my best friends but eager for the next opportunity," Parker said.
Parker is a two-time All-Conference player. He was also named All-Conference in 2022 while competing in the NWAC South Division and was name All-Conference in 2023 in the NWAC West Division.
"CP came in and did everything we asked of him. He hit lead-off, he hit in the two hole, he hit in the four-hole and all he did was produce. He produced 126 runs in two seasons for us. He came in as a shortstop. He was moved to second and then to third and never complained he just competed. Then he found his home in the outfield and he made himself a Division I player. And the kid loves to compete. He gives you a perfect effort every day and makes a good team a great team. He leaves here with 50 wins and NWAC Super Regional appearance. And you tell him that he and his teammates had a great two-year run he will tell you that he didn't finish the job. He's never satisfied. That's what makes him so special. Bowling Green got a good one," Magdaleno said.
