NWAC Athlete of the Week J Bates

Clark's Jasmine Bates named NWAC Women's Track & Field athlete of the week

Bates had the top time in the NWAC this season in the 800-meters, finishing in 2:19.71 at the L&C Lary Byerly Invite. Bates took ninth in the race out of 51 runners that included NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA competitors. She also had the second fastest time in the NWAC in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.96.
