VANCOUVER, Wash. - Clark College snagged a late lead and defeated Yakima Valley 3-2 on Sunday. The game was tied at two with the penguins batting in the bottom of the seventh when Justin Willis brought home the winning run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Clark College pitchers struck out ten, while YVCC pitchers sat down six.

In the second inning, YVCC got their offense started. YVCC scored one run when Andrew Graham singled.

Cade Reitzenstein got the start for penguins . The righty allowed three hits and two runs over five innings, striking out nine.

Judd was on the pitcher's mound for Yakima Valley. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out six.

Clark saw the ball well today, racking up six hits in the game. Justin Willis and Canon Humphreys each had multiple hits for penguins . Humphreys and Willis each had two hits to lead Clark.
