VANCOUVER, Wash. - Clark College Men's Cross Country and Track & Field are excited announce their latest signing of JT Myles out of Vancouver, WA.
Myles' signing marks the Penguins distance program's third addition across both Men's and Women's, out of Columbia River High School. Myles spent his 9th and 10th grade years in homeschooling and managed to maintain a 3.4 GPA. He then transferred to Columbia River where he found success on the track competing in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 110h, long jump, 4x100, and 4x400. Miles also spent time in a Teacher's Assistant role at a dance studio he attended.
Track & Field Accomplishments:
- 2x All League 2nd Team awards
- 4th place 2A District Ribbon
- Columbia River High School Track & Field Hunter Pearson Memorial Award
- 100m PR- 11.34
- 200m PR- 24.03
- 110 Hurdles PR- 16.04
- 300 Hurdles PR- 45.00
- Long Jump PR- 18'10"
"We're really excited to get JT in our program", said Penguins Head Coach,
Owen Frasier. "His coaches raved about his work ethic and about him being a great teammate. He fits in perfectly."
