
VANCOUVER, Wash. - Clark College Men's Cross Country and Track & Field is excited to announce the signing of Evan Hebblethwaite out of Vancouver, WA.
Hebblethwaite joins the Penguins with a loaded resume coming out of Skyview, competing on Skyview's varsity Cross Country and Track & Field teams. He boasts a 5k personal best of 17:26 and earned 2nd Team All-League honors for XC in 4A GSHL. Hebblethwaite has also shined in the classroom with a 3.57 GPA.Â
"I'm excited to run for Clark because I get to meet new people on the team and to see how much my running improves," said Hebblethwaite.
"Evan had a great senior season," says Hebblethwaite's high school coach, Chris Erdman. "He has improved a lot in his time at Skyview and we expect that will continue as he moves on to Clark. We are excited to follow his career as a Penguin!"Â
When asked about Hebblethwaite's signing, Penguins XC Head Coach,
Owen Frasier said, "Evan had an awesome senior season and comes from a great program at Skyview High School. We believe that the longer distance at our level may bring even more out of him. He will be a big part of our program moving forward."
