On Saturday October 27th, the men and women of Clark College Cross Country traveled down to Clackamas Community College to compete at the Mike Hodges Invitational. Clark had three men finish in the top ten,
Micah Goff (27:24.43),
Calvin DuBois (27:54.94) and
Aaron Avery (28:07.41), with Micah finishing second overall. The women also had three top ten finishers,
Nicky Figueras (21:09.75),
Elsa Temme (22:50.62), and
Carmella DeSean (23:22.27), with Nicky finishing first in the college entries and second overall.
Coach Bob Williams said "Overall I thought we competed well as a team! It was a perfect tune up for the NWAC Championships, in two weeks."
The men's team finished first overall, with 37 points, above Clackamas (39 points) and Mt. Hood (44 points).
