Former Penguin runner, Daniel Nehnevaj, continues to succeed after Clark. Nehnevaj was a part of the Cross Country program from 2015-2017, later transfering to West Virginia University Tech to further his education and athletic career.
Three times this year, Nehnevaj has earned River States Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, earning ninth at the Louisville Sports Commission Classic. Nehnevaj finished with a personal best at Top 10 and a time of 25:11. This helped secure 20th place out of 45 teams competing, and beating out several NAIA teams.
