The women's basketball team following their win at Mt. Hood CC
VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Clark College Athletic Department will be honoring
Gianna Loville prior to tip-off of Saturday's home game vs Umpqua CC. Loville, a freshman guard for the penguins, passed away January 12. Saturday will be the first home game for the penguin basketball team's since her passing.
Prior to tip-off the athletic department will be holding a moment of silence in honor of Loville. The women's basketball team will be displaying patches on their jersey's with G10 sewn on them, in remembrance of Loville, who wore #10 for the penguins this season.
The women captured their first win of the season, Wednesday at Mt. hood CC. Mt. Hood honored Loville with a moment of silence and the entire saints team wore warm up shirts with the #10 on them they also presented the team with roses.
Tip-off for the women will be Saturday, at 2:00pm, the men will follow at 4:00pm.
