Biography

Nick Name: Ice

Siblings: Owen Quercia

Favorite Sport memory: One time in a game I got so mad that I decided the “best” thing to do was to hug the girl, everyone died laughing

What brought you to Clark? Soccer and coach Sean Janson really seemed to have the heart and passion for the game and I wanted that to be part of my career.

Sport past: This summer I played on Semi-pro team Twin City Union FC in the NWPL league and finished 3rd. I lead my team in goals scored.

Favorite Quote: What you have give… Because what you save, you lose forever.

Favorite Movie: Nacho Libre

Favorite thing about your sport: Soccer is limitless

Plans after Clark? I’d like to transfer to a for year University to continue playing soccer and study Environmental Science.

Soccer  Success:

Freshman Year at Clark College:
Ellie has had an immediate impact at the Collegiate level, ranking 4th overall in the NWAC with 14 goals and 2nd in assists with 12 in her Freshman campaign. Her efforts lead to her being voted Freshman of the Year by her teammates. Coach Janson has given her the nickname "Ice" in recognition of her calmness in the final third.
With such great success in her first year as a Penguin, she is very happy with her career thus far but says she certainly misses her other two sports. Ellie "Ice" has a strong desire to improve her game every day and looks forward to playing soccer at a D1 or D2 school once her time at Clark is done.

Highschool:
Ellie graduated as Valedictorian and was an active member in The National Honor Society. She was also involved in several school extracurricular activities like ASB and leadership class. Not only did Ellie excel in the classroom and throughout the community, but on the court and in the fields too! She was honored with the Dorothy Davis award for being a successful multi-sport athlete, lettering all four of her years in soccer, basketball, and softball totaling for 12 Varsity letters for her high school career.
Ellie was awarded Evergreen 1st Team All-League Forward all four years at Hoquiam, and ended her senior year with a personal and school high of 27 goals in one season giving her 74 career goals ultimately earning All-League MVP in the process.
