Cannon is entering his fourth year as head coach of the Women's Basketball program. He has ten years of previous basketball coaching experience, both with men and women for high school and travel club teams.
He spent five years at Evergreen High School here in Vancouver. Initially coming onto the staff as a volunteer for the boys basketball department. He then spent one season as the Head Freshman coach and the following season as the Head JV coach. Eventually moving up to be the Varsity Assistant coach, where he spent the rest of his time and really grew as a coach, mentor, and trainer. Nine of the boys he worked with went on to play college ball.
He also spent four years at Sports and Life as a trainer assistant where he focused on youth skill development and learning overall basketball coaching skills for the first time.
Cannon resides here in Vancouver with his spouse Jeanna and their four children Tre, Jayden, Jrue, and Ashton.
