    Assistant Coach - Jumps
Former Clark College track and field standout Michaela Ephraim has rejoined the program as the new assistant coach in charge of jumps. Originally coming to Clark after prepping at local Seton Catholic College Preparatory High School, Ephraim competed in sprints, hurdles, and jumps in her lone year with the Penguins before transferring on to compete at Life University in Georgia.

At Clark, Ephraim was an NWAC All-American in the long jump after she finished second in the event with a mark of 16’10” at the NWAC Championships. Ephraim was also named All-Conference in the triple jump and the high jump where she finished fourth and sixth overall in the two events. At the championships, Ephraim was the Penguins second highest scorer with a total of 16 points and was named the Penguins’ Most Outstanding Field Athlete for the 2023-2024 season.

Clark College Head Track Coach Christian Igielinski was ecstatic about adding Ephraim to his coaching staff. “Michaela brings a rare knowledge from having competed and succeeded in all three jumping events in the NWAC,” said Igielinski. “She knows what it takes to be great at this level, as well as utilize Clark as an opportunity to transfer on to a four year college. What I am probably most excited about is though, she understands what #ClarkKindaCulture means from having been in this program before. She will make a positive impact on our program and our athletes in so many ways.”
