Clark College Athletics

Jonah comes to Clark from Mill City, Oregon, where he played for Santiam High School. He is the son of Jeremy and Meghan Downey. He has 3 brothers, Ezra, Julian and Michael and one sister, Maizy. He plans on studying general studies while here at Clark to transfer to a 4-year university.

Jonah will be a red shirt during his freshman season at Clark. 

High School: He was a three year varsity letter earner in basketball while playing for the wolverines. During his prep career he was 1st Team All Conference 3 times, he was All-State 3 times, and he was the Conference Player of the Year. 

His wolverine team was Conference Champions twice during his career and during the 2016/2017 season they were the 2A Oregon State Champions. 

Why did you come to Clark: "I liked the coaching staff and because it is a good opportunity to help me move on to the next level of play."

Plans after Clark: "To transfer to a 4-year university and complete my degree and hopefully continue to play basketball."
