Biography
High School Stats/Highlights/Accolades: Burkhart (6'7"/210/F/C) enters the 2016-2017 basketball season as a true freshman. He graduated from Firth High School in Firth, Idaho where he was a succesful multi-sport athlete. Burkhart was a starter for Firth for three years and was Captain his senior year. He won the Idaho 2A State Championship three times, in 2013-2014, 2014-2015, and 2015-2016. He was also awarded the Idaho Statesman 2A Player of the Year honor in 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 while at Firth. Along with these honors, Burkhart was named to the All-Nuclear Conference Team three times and averaged 14 ppg and 6rpg his senior year.
Burkhart also lettered in football, track, and baseball while he was at Firth. In football he was an All-Nuclear Conference tight end twice and an All League defensive end. His senior year he made the All-Area team at tight end. In track, he was a league champion in the high jump and qualified for state in the high jump twice and the long jump once. In baseball, he was part of the first state win for Firth High School in ten years.
