Clark College Athletics

Josiah comes to Clark from right here in Vancouver, Washington, where he played at Prairie High School. He is the son of Jake and Carrie Nickel. He has two siblings, Elijah and Samantha. He plans on studying Sports Medicine while here at Clark. 

High School: During his prep career for the falcons he was a three sport athlete, participating in football, basketball and baseball. He was a multi-year letter winner in baseball and basketball. He was selected to the All League 2nd Team as junior and the 1st Team All League as a senior. 

He played his competitive club baseball with the Showtime College Prep program. 

Why did you come to Clark: "The location kept me close to home and it was the right fit for me athletically and educationally" 

Plans After Clark: "To transfer to a Division 1 school and possibly the MLB draft"
