Olympia, Wash. – The Clark Penguins put together a dominant effort Saturday night, sweeping South Puget Sound 3–0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-20) to earn their second victory of the season. Clark opened strong, hitting .545 in the first set behind 14 kills, and never looked back. The Penguins controlled the net and the back row, finishing with 28 kills, 29 digs, seven service aces, and five blocks as a team. SophomoreÂ
Alexis Echols powered the offense with a match-high 11 kills and added two solo blocks for 14 points. FreshmanÂ
Kylie Miller was highly efficient at the net, tallying eight kills on just 11 swings (.727) while chipping in three blocks for 11 total points. SetterÂ
