Defensively, Emelynn Cecil anchored the back row with a team-high 16 digs, and Kim Saechao added 7 digs to help Clark stay in long rallies.  Clark recorded 30 kills and 38 digs as a team, showing steady improvement from the opening frame to a competitive second set where they pushed Clackamas to 25-20.  With the result, Clark moves to 1-6 overall on the season. The Penguins continue their preseason schedule next week as they look to build on the solid play of their young roster and turn their defensive energy into more consistent offensive production.
