Game 1 - In a wild finish to an otherwise quiet game, Grays Harbor stormed back in the final two innings to stun Clark with a 6-5 walk-off win on Sunday afternoon. Despite a late offensive surge by Clark in the eighth inning, Grays Harbor strung together clutch hits and capitalized on Clark's miscues to seal the comeback in dramatic fashion.
The game was largely a pitcher's duel through the first six innings, with Clark's Evan McGuire putting together a strong start. The right-hander struck out 10 and allowed just one run over 7 innings, showing great command and mound presence. McGuire also contributed at the plate, going 1-for-4 with a run scored.
But Clark's bullpen couldn't hold the lead. After a five-run top of the eighth gave Clark a 5-1 cushion, the wheels came off. Grays Harbor responded with three runs in the bottom half, then walked it off in the ninth with a two-RBI single from W. Scharf off reliever T. Gibson, who took the loss.
Despite the team loss, McGuire was Clark's standout performer, doing it all on both sides of the ball. On the mound, he threw 100 pitches, allowing only five hits and three earned runs while walking four. At the plate, he scored the game's first run and notched one of Clark's six hits. His consistency and grit kept Clark in the game until the bullpen collapse.
Clark's eighth-inning rally featured patient at-bats and some gritty hustle. The inning saw RBIs from Trevin Long, Landon Criste, and Andrew Israel, and a wild sequence of hit batters and walks led to a sudden shift in momentum. Unfortunately for Clark, defensive errors—four total, proved costly in the late innings.
Grays Harbor was led by K. Frazier and K. Willer, who each drove in two runs, with Willer's double in the eighth providing the spark the home team needed. The bullpen trio of L. Pisani, A. Wells, and M. Alexander weathered Clark's eighth-inning surge, with Alexander earning the win after a clean ninth.

Game 2 -Â Clark College's bats came alive early and often in a 14-0 rout of Grays Harbor in the final game of the series, thanks to a relentless offensive onslaught and a gem on the mound from Kenneth Hall.
Clark exploded for 10 runs across the second and third innings, and never looked back, racking up 14 runs on just nine hits. Every part of the lineup contributed, but it was Rylan Taguchi who shined brightest in a game full of standout performances.
Taguchi was nearly unstoppable at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs, two runs scored, a walk, and a hit-by-pitch. He also caused havoc on the basepaths, though he was caught stealing in the first. His approach at the plate sparked multiple rallies and helped Clark keep the pressure on throughout the game.
Taguchi drove in runs in both the second and third innings—part of a seven-run third that broke the game wide open. He reached base in all four of his plate appearances and was in the middle of nearly every big inning for Clark.
Meanwhile, Hall was dominant on the hill, tossing a complete game shutout. He gave up just five hits over five innings, walked two, and struck out two, needing only 52 pitches to carve through Grays Harbor's lineup.
Defensively, Clark was flawless with no errors, while Grays Harbor struggled with two costly miscues that extended multiple innings.
Clark improves to 11-12, 4-4 NWACÂ on the season with the win and will look to keep the momentum rolling as they continue their conference schedule.
