#3 Ranked Green River Beats Clark

PASCO, Wash. — Clark College opened Saturday's neutral-site contest with early energy but couldn't withstand a potent Green River attack, falling 90–62 despite strong individual performances and a competitive start.

Ari Richardson and Tristan Pratt powered the Penguins' offense, each finishing with 15 points. Richardson was efficient from deep, knocking down 3-of-6 from three-point range, while Pratt worked inside for buckets and added five rebounds.

Clark trailed just 16–15 midway through the first half after back-to-back scores from Pratt, Marcell Roberts, and Richardson helped the Penguins erase an early deficit. But Green River responded with a decisive run, pushing the lead to double digits and carrying a 51–31 advantage into halftime.

Despite the margin, Clark showed stretches of strong play, particularly on the glass. The Penguins pulled down 38 rebounds, including seven from Roberts, who gave Clark a spark off the bench with eight points and active work around the rim.

Noah Tostovrsnik contributed 7 points and 8 rebounds, while Samuel Malm added four points and a block as Clark's bench combined for 19 points. Jaydon Hall also chipped in with 3 points and two assists in 16 minutes.

Ultimately, turnovers (17) and Green River's efficiency from the field proved too much to overcome, as the Gators shot 44 percent and hit 10 threes.

Clark (6–3) returns to action next week looking to bounce back and build on the stretches of ball movement and toughness that showed throughout the first half.
