Clark opened the scoring early in the 10th minute, as Sophomore, Randy Valdivia capitalized on a well-placed shot past Tacoma's goalkeeper Manny Zuniga. The goal came amidst a flurry of early attacks from Clark, showcasing their offensive prowess.
However, Tacoma regrouped and gradually found their rhythm in the game. The defensive line, anchored by Cris Posadas and Alvaro Rubio, held firm against Clark's relentless attacks. Manny Zuniga, in goal, made crucial saves throughout the match, including a penalty save early in the game that kept Tacoma within striking distance.
