VANCOUVER, Wash. - In a lopsided affair at Kim Christensen Field, Clark men's soccer demonstrated their offensive prowess with a resounding 6-2 victory over Rogue. The game was characterized by Clark's relentless attacking and clinical finishing, leaving Rogue struggling to contain their opponents throughout the match.
The scoring opened early as Clark's Christian Silva found the back of the net just six minutes into the game, setting the tone for the match. However, Rogue responded swiftly with Mason Klipfel equalizing in the 7th minute, assisted by Elias Castro. The back-and-forth continued with Abraham Alvarez-Cast reclaiming the lead for the penguins in the 12th minute, assisted by JP Warnell.
Despite Rogue's efforts to stay competitive, Clark's offensive onslaught proved too much to handle. Logan Puppo extended Clark's lead in the 34th minute, assisted by Randy Valdivia, followed by Matthew Wagner scoring just before halftime to make it 4-2 in favor of Clark.
