VANCOUVER, Wash. - In a hard-fought battle on their home court in Vancouver, WA, the Clark Penguins displayed resilience and determination against Southwestern Oregon. Despite their commendable efforts, the Penguins fell short, succumbing to an 89-79 defeat. However, amidst the loss, there were numerous positive takeaways for Clark fans to embrace.
From the onset, Clark showcased their offensive prowess, with Brendan Beier leading the charge with an impressive 19 points. Keenan Coleman also made significant contributions, adding 16 points to the scoreboard. Their combined efforts kept the Penguins within striking distance throughout the contest.
Despite the relentless pressure from Southwestern Oregon, Clark continued to fight back, with Samuel Igbonagwam and Keegan Phillips each chipping in with double-digit scoring performances of 12 and 11 points, respectively. Their tenacity on both ends of the court kept the game competitive until the final buzzer.
