VANCOUVER, Wash. - Clark College secured a home-court sweep against Clackamas with a solid 3-0 win. The Penguins took control early, capturing the first two sets with close scores of 27-25 each before decisively clinching the third set at 25-19.
Clark's offensive front was spearheaded by
Olivia Brown, who racked up 14 kills with an impressive .312 hitting percentage, adding 20 digs to her night.
Ruby Ochoa also played a significant role, securing 12 kills with a .242 percentage, while
Kylie Miller contributed 8 kills at a stellar .353 clip. Setter
Taylee Wilson orchestrated the offense with 20 assists, while
Josie Becker dished out 15 assists.
The Penguins' defense matched Clackamas's intensity, with both teams recording 71 digs.
Emelynn Cecil anchored Clark's defensive effort, leading the team with 21 digs.
Sydney George and
Olivia Brown provided additional support, combining for 31 digs.
