Ontario, Ore. - The Clark College penguins lost the lead late in a 15-10 defeat to Treasure Valley CC on Sunday. The game was tied at ten with TVCC batting in the bottom of the eighth when Sanchez singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Clark collected ten hits and TVCC had 12 in the high-scoring affair.
In the first inning, the penguins got their offense started when
Justin Willis drew a walk, scoring one run.
Martin toed the rubber for TVCC. The ace went four innings, allowing five runs on three hits and striking out one.
Zachary Hauser started the game for the penguins. The righty lasted four innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out five and walking one.
Ryan Keith and
Braeden Getch entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one and one-third innings respectively.
Clark College Penguins launched one home run on the day.
Josh Schleichardt had a long ball in the sixth inning.

Caden Parker, Schleichardt, and Willis all had multiple hits for Clark. Willis, Schleichardt, and Parker each collected two hits to lead Clark College Penguins .
Canon Humphreys led the penguins with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
TVCC tallied 12 hits on the day. Horsley, Ratliff, Perez, and Sanchez each collected multiple hits for TVCC. Horsley led TVCC with three hits in four at bats.
