Coach Shain Rossi brings more than 19 years of coaching experience across every level of the game, from recreation to community college. He currently serves as Head Coach for the Columbia Premier Girls Aspire team, where he emphasizes player development, team culture, and tactical growth.
As a player, Rossi was a four-time CIF First Team and League MVP in high school, and he was also selected to the All-Area Senior Team. At the academy level, he competed in the Premier League of Southern California’s US Club Soccer. Growing up in a soccer family, his passion for the game was influenced early, especially by his older brother, who played professionally in Spain.
Rossi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a certified personal trainer through both NESTA and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). He also holds a USSF D License along with numerous additional certifications in soccer and player development, blending fitness, psychology, and technical knowledge into his coaching philosophy. His passion for positive psychology shapes his approach, helping athletes build confidence and resilience on and off the field.
Outside of coaching, Rossi enjoys all types of movies and often shares inspiration with his players through his favorite quote: “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” – Walt Disney.
