Thomas Normandeau, a freshman from Washougal, WA, once again is selected due to becoming an All-American in the 800 at the NWAC Championships held in Spokane Washington.  Thomas cruised his way to the finals by placing 2^nd in his heat with a time of 1:55.67. The 2^nd place finish automatically qualified him to compete the next day in the finals. Thomas was going for the win and expended a lot of energy trying to keep up with the eventual winner, however he came up a bit short and was passed at the end to place 3^rd with a time of 1:55.36. He has already started training for next season as he will try and become the NWAC champion in the 800.
