The 1992-93 Clark team, which went 33-0, is the only NWAACC women's basketball team to ever post a perfect season record. Prior to coaching at Clark, Trapp taught at Marshall High School for 30 years and coached various sports. He served as athletic director for three years. His girls' basketball teams won back-to-back AAA state championships in 1981 and '82. Trapp was inducted into the Portland Interscholastic League (PIL) Hall of Fame in 2004.
