The 1956 Clark track and field team won the college’s second consecutive title, scoring 56 points and besting second-place Olympic College by 21 points. The Penguins won seven of the 15 events. Jack Hoage set the record in the 220 low-hurdles winning in a time of 24.2 Hoage also won titles in the 100m and 220m. Dynes won titles in the high jump and pole vault. Ralph Lillie won the 120 High Hurdles.
